About the role 

To manage and maintain all technical and soft facility services across the factory and
administrative building, ensuring safe, e􀆯icient, and reliable operations. The Facility Manager
provides engineering-driven leadership to sustain high equipment performance, workplace
safety, and cost control while supporting continuous improvement in plant and o􀆯ice
environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Maintenance
 Oversee daily operation and maintenance of factory utilities and building systems,
including electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and fire
protection.
 Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are implemented and
documented through a CAFM system.
 Supervise maintenance teams and service providers for both industrial equipment and
o􀆯ice facilities.
 Coordinate with production and HSE teams to minimize downtime and maintain
operational continuity.
 Monitor critical systems and respond promptly to technical issues or emergencies.
2. Engineering & Projects
 Plan and execute facility improvement and expansion projects, such as equipment
upgrades, o􀆯ice refurbishments, and energy optimization initiatives.
 Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering
and safety standards.
 Manage vendors and contractors during installation, commissioning, and maintenance
phases.
 Support asset lifecycle management and maintain accurate as-built documentation.
3. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
 Ensure full compliance with local regulations and company HSE policies.
 Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
 Ensure that all facility activities (maintenance, cleaning, waste management) adhere to
environmental and safety standards.
 Promote and enforce safe work practices among all sta􀆯 and contractors.
4. Financial & Contract Management
 Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets for facility operations.
 Evaluate and manage maintenance and service contracts, ensuring quality and cost
e􀆯iciency.
 Track energy and utility consumption to identify savings opportunities and e􀆯iciency
measures.
 Approve technical purchases and verify vendor invoices against performance.
5. Leadership & Coordination
 Lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians, cleaners, security personnel, and
contractors.
 Liaise with factory management, production supervisors, and admin teams to align
facility operations with business needs.
 Provide regular performance and compliance reports to management.
 Train and mentor technical sta􀆯 to build operational capability and safety awareness.

Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (required).
 8–15 years of experience in facility management, including factory or industrial
environments.
 Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, power systems, utilities, and fire safety.
 Experience managing soft services (cleaning, security, landscaping, waste).
 Proficient in CAFM/BMS systems, project planning, and vendor management.
 Certifications such as CFM (IFMA), OSHA, or Project Management (PMP) are
advantageous.
 Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
