Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Supervisor to manage the technical operations and maintenance of retail outlets and/or malls across Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP systems, a solid understanding of Permits and DM/DCD regulations, and hands-on experience in retail facility management. This position requires strong leadership to manage both in-house teams and subcontractors while maintaining high service standards, compliance, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of MEP systems across assigned retail locations across UAE.
- Ensure all maintenance activities (PPM and corrective) are performed in accordance Mall Permits and DM/DCD regulations.
- Login to Client portal and address all the tickets raised and coordinate with the relevant team members with real-time maintenance tasks, PPM’s and job completion.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractor and Inhouse team activities and ensure work is completed per SLA/KPI requirements.
- Maintain and submit monthly reports, costing sheet, proposals and Invoices to the client as per request.
- Manage the inventory of tools, consumables, and critical spares – track stock levels and raise requisitions as needed.
- Prepare and manage technical reports, asset registers, checklists, and compliance logs.
- Respond quickly and effectively to all emergency breakdowns or incidents, maintaining minimal disruption to retail operations. (Visit the site in case of High emergency)
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, including incident reporting and emergency procedures.
- Train, guide, and assess technical staff to ensure compliance and skill enhancement.
- Liaise with mall management, retail tenants, and third-party vendors for FM-related coordination.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend optimization plans aligned with ESG/Sustainability objectives.
- Support the Technical Manager in preparing budgets, AMC coordination, spare parts procurement, and asset lifecycle planning.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of FM experience, with 2–3 years in UAE (preferably in retail, mall, or mixed-use developments).
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, firefighting systems, LV panels, and building automation systems.
- Familiarity with UAE regulatory authorities (DCD, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and safety documentation.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- UAE driving License
- Proficient in MS Office, and experience with CAFM/CMMS platforms.
- Ability to manage multi-site retail environments with shifting schedules (including weekends or night shifts if required).
