About the role

As a Driver, you will be transporting clients in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner. Your role will involve developing and processes to guarantee that operations align with client corporate expectations and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

What you will bring

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience working in transportation environment, with a strong understanding of traffic laws and familiar with area roads and neighborhoods.
• Proven experience as a Driver
• Ability to communicate in English
• A valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma

What you will be doing

In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of transportation services, uphold safety and compliance standards, and manage various administrative tasks. Main responsibilities will include:

1. Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
2. Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
3. Collect payments and issue receipts
4. Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
5. Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
6. Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
7. Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest
8. Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
9. Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
10. Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car
