Job Description

The purpose of the role is to lead all procurement activities within North Africa Regions (Egypt, Morocco & Algeria) cross existing and new potential customers to meet business operational and financial targets.


Roles & Responsibilities :-
  1. Run tenders, negotiations, and RFPs to support business to develop preferred suppliers across the
  2. Sourcing new vendors per category across the region.
  3. lead supplier contract negotiations and assist contract team to create and finalize the contract.
  4. Promote compliance to supply chain processes and to ensure all activities within responsibility are completed in line with relevant.
  5. Act as a point of escalation for supplier issues – performance and processes.
  6. Manage transitions of new customer accounts, to meet the commercial and operational objectives, including supplier onboarding and contracts.
  7. Support operations team to meet saving targets.
  8. Assist and Review vendors to be onboarded.

Education :

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, Min 7 years’ experience in sourcing / procurement function, with experience of tenders, negotiations, savings planning & savings achievement, supplier due diligence, contract writing and contract negotiations.


Skills

  • Expert level skills with analytical tools
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Ability to work flexibly with minimal supervision with a remote reporting
  • Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel, Word &
  • SAP is a must


Knowledge

  • Experience of the FM market and in-depth knowledge of the FM supply chain
  • Supply chain principles, procedures and methods
  • Supplier performance improvement tools & techniques
  • Languages English, French is a plus.
  • Strong proven management experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management with a track record of solid and results achievement
  • Significant experience leading and conducting negotiations for contracts with domestic & international sources across a wide portfolio of categories
  • The ability to work with and influence a broad range of stakeholders and supplier staff at senior levels
  • Able to plan and manage multiple tasks.
