Position Summary
The Business Support Manager will provide end-to-end operational, analytical, and administrative support to the Regional Asset Manager responsible for Corporate Real Estate (CRE) across West and Central Africa. This role supports the ensures RES Head in effective management of real estate assets, portfolio optimization, regulatory compliance, vendor performance, and workplace efficiency in alignment with global RES standards.
The position requires strong coordination, financial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of RES processes within a global financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio & Asset Management Support
- Assist the Asset Manager in managing the real estate portfolio across Nigeria. Other countries to follow depending on capacity.
- Support lease administration activities, including renewals, expirations tracking, rent reviews, and documentation updates.
- Support in monitoring occupancy data, space utilization, and ensure records are accurate in global RES systems.
- Assist in coordinating asset lifecycle plans, capital projects follow-ups, and workplace optimization initiatives.
- Operational & Administrative Support
- Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and portfolio summaries for internal stakeholders and regional teams.
- Maintain all RES-related documentation, compliance records, contract files, and vendor agreements.
- Coordinate site visits, audits, inspections, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Support the implementation of global CRE policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-monitoring for CRE operations.
- Review vendor invoices, service-level reports, and assist with purchase order creation and expense tracking.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly financial reviews and global CRE reporting requirements.
- Vendor & Service Provider Management
- Coordinate with Facilities Management, Projects, and other CRE partners to ensure performance meets agreed SLAs.
- Track vendor deliverables, escalate performance gaps, and support contract renewal processes.
- Assist in organizing vendor performance reviews and governance meetings.
- Compliance, Risk & Control
- Ensure all CRE activities align with local regulatory requirements and global risk controls.
- Support business continuity planning (BCP), health & safety compliance, and environmental sustainability reporting.
- Support in tracking audit findings, coordinate remediation activities, and maintain evidence of compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Serve as a central coordination point between RES, Operations, Finance, Risk, HR, Technology, and branch leadership.
- Manage communication flow between regional and country teams on CRE matters.
- Support change management, country-level RES requests, and customer experience improvements in branches and offices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Estate Management, Facilities Management, Finance, or related fields.
- 3years experience in Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business Support, or Operations within a multinational organization (financial services preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and portfolio management tools.
- Understanding of CRE processes such as: lease management, facility operations, asset lifecycle planning, capital projects, workplace strategy, and risk & control frameworks.
- Experience coordinating across multiple countries or regions is an advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
