About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to support our client by delivering efficient facilities operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining strong client relationships, and providing reliable data administration and reporting.

The role requires hands-on site presence and proactive management of building maintenance, soft services, vendors, and client expectations. You will act as the first point of contact for the client’s office and ensure that all service levels, KPIs, and performance obligations are met.

What you will bring

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Facilities Management.
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in business, technical, or management preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • FM certification (SAFMA, IWFM, IFMA or similar) advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s licence (may be required).

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, and courteous service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to present information clearly and manage sensitive issues professionally.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage people and vendors effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using a CAFM or ticketing system (Si7 or similar).

What you will be doing

Client Management

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, attending regular meetings and providing updates.
  • Lead and deliver OPIs and KPIs as per the Master Service Agreement (MSA).
  • Ensure all client objectives and timelines are met.
  • Provide accurate data analysis and reporting when required.
  • Act as the on-site first point of contact for employees, visitors, contractors, and the client team.
